Juan Cardona, Jr. of Newtown, Connecticut, began studying piano and organ at the age of seven. He has been the House Organist for the Thomaston Opera House for over thirty years and for the Bardavon Opera House for over twenty-five years. Along with his duties as House Organist for these two theatres, Juan is also invited by chapters of the American Theatre Organ Society and the American Guild of Organists to perform concerts and silent films around the country on some of the greatest theatre and classical pipe organs. In July 2022, Juan was a featured organist for the American Theatre Organ Society’s National Convention at the historic Balboa Theatre in San Diego, CA. In December 2017, Juan had the distinct honor of opening for the Boston Pops, and in 2019, he opened for the Russian National Ballet’s tour at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA. Juan is performing only at 2pm at the Lincoln, so please join us to be amazed by his skills at the Pip Organ.
