Entertaining the metro St Louis area & Southern Illinois since 1921.  The Lincoln Theatre shows Hollywood Movies, hosts legendary touring artists, like Jo De Messina, Foghat, Wynonna Judd, Jim Messina, John Lodge, CandleBox plus touring tributes and many of your local/regional musical groups all live on its historical stage.  Located at the corner of High St & E Main St in Belleville Il, the Lincoln is the anchor to our beautiful downtown Belleville business district.  The Lincoln Theater is an intimate space where every seat has a great view and you are close to the stage weather you are at a movie, event or a concert. Parking is free on the street or city lots behind the buildings.

Welcome to another evening of Rocky Horror Picture Show mayhem as you enter Dr. Frank-N-Furter's residence at the Lincoln Theatre. It's astounding watching the cast of Flustered Mustard perform their shadow performance and lead the audience participation. Festivities start with a pre-show at 7:30pm of the history of Rocky Horror Picture Show. After that a virgin ceremony welcoming all first time viewers to the experience is performed before the movie starts.

All attendees will receive a prop bag. No outside props are allowed but feel free to dress as your favorite character. A portion of each ticket benefits Glow for Hope, suicide prevention.

          Event Rules / FAQ          

Rules

• All ticket sales are final.
• Tickets for most shows can be purchased online, at the boxoffice and Abe's Gourmet popcorn shop at 101 E Main St, Belleville IL.  All live events will have a fee.  The fee may be less when purchased in person at the Box-Office or Abe's Gourmet popcorn shop. 
• All online ticket sales are issued to the email address you provided at purchase time.  All tickets are on the one email confirmation so please have your group together at the door or pick-up your tickets ahead of time and distribute the tickets to your group.  We will scan the QR code on your email prior to entering the theatre at the door or Box-Office.  You may pick up your tickets at the Box-Office or Abe’s Gourmet Popcorn shop next to the lobby anytime after your purchase. 
• Cash is accepted at the theatre and Abe's Gourmet Popcorn Shop.
• Everyone must have a ticket to enter the theater. 
• Everyone will be Id checked and arm banded before entering by security.
• No large bags.  Backpacks and bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12" are not permitted in the auditorium. 
• All Bags are subject to search.
• Any person disrupting a performance or inhibiting the enjoyment of an event for guests may be removed from the theater without refund.
• No outside food or beverages are permitted in the theater.  We have a concession stand and full bar.
• No weapons are allowed in the theatre.
• Large or professional cameras and recording devices are not allowed.  Exceptions may be made with advance approval of the artist and management.
• Flash Photography and/or video recording is dangerous for performers and annoys other patrons as well as potentially violates copyrights. Management reserves the right to confiscate any camera or recording devices used improperly in the auditorium without prior approval and/or ask you to leave. 
• Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.
• Lobby door and auditorium door opening times may vary by show. Lobby door times will be listed on event details.  Normally doors are 1 hour prior to posted showtime.
• If a show is designated as assigned seating you will not be allowed to congregate outside of your designated seating area.
• Smoking is allowed outside only at least 15 feet away from doors.  Attendees will be allowed to exit and enter only via the main entrance with a valid armband for the night.    
• You may take drinks from the theatre to our outside patio area during the shows

COVID-19 Policy: 

We value the health and safety of our guests and cast members. If you are not feeling well please stay home. 

The safety protocols for each of our special events on our event calendar may vary based on CDC guidance or government regulations at the time.  Additionally, there may be requirements or recommendations by the shows’ management. Protocols for each engagement will be updated on this page for that show.

Is the Lincoln a large place? Will I be able to get close?

The Lincoln theatre is an intimate venue where all seats make you feel like a VIP up front.  All seats have great views of the stage and are no more than 75 feet from the stage.

Where do I park?

Parking is free around the theatre.  There is ample parking on lots behind the building and neighboring buildings as well as along both sides of East Main street.  Street parking is also available and is free.  See map above.

Is there a Bar?

Yes there is a bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks. The concession also offers adult slushies which are not available at the bars.

Can I use my Lincoln Reward/Gift card?

Yes you may use your Lincoln/Abe’s reward/gift card to get points or pay for purchases at the box-office and concession stand.  Free ticket rewards are not valid for special event tickets.  Note: remote bars may not be able to use/accept reward/gift cards.

How do I get tickets?

You may purchase tickets at the Box-Office, Abe’s Gourmet Popcorn (101 E Main St) and online at www.lincolntheatre-belleville.com.  Online tickets are automatically placed in free will call for pickup at the theatre or Abe’s Gourmet any time prior to the show. For reserved seating events you must have your ticket receipt stapled to the hard ticket to be valid.  

When can I buy tickets?

Each show will have an annouced time when online and live sales are activated.
